Days after flaunting yet another loved-up display with beau The Weeknd, Selena Gomez was turning up the heat in a different way on the red carpet and giving us 13 reasons why we need to make orange the hue of the season.
On Thursday night, the “Hands to Myself” songstress made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix show to promote the new series, and we couldn’t tear our eyes away from the star’s gorgeous, head-to-toe tangerine look.
Turning heads in a strapless metallic orange minidress featuring a tulip skirt from luxe fashion house Oscar de la Renta’s fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection, the 13 Reasons Why executive producer made a rare appearance on the red carpet count with eye-popping color and a refreshing but elegant beauty look that proves that she’s still got it.

In addition to silver slip-on sandals, the Revival star stole the show by sporting a pair of ombre Chikita Babe Bonbon earrings from Rebecca de Ravenel that perfectly complemented the flirty number. Slicked back tresses, a pop of cobalt blue nail polish, and burnt orange eyeshadow and a matching lipstick put the finishing touches on the 24-year-old’s daring ensemble.
A slew of celebrities attended the event, with Courteney Cox, who has revealed that she is a big fan of the book, making a surprisingly demure spring-ready entrance in a colorful floral-printed number, satin fuchsia sandals, and baby pink lipstick.
Gomez stopped to pose with the show’s love interests Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford—stunning in an edgy off-the-shoulder black lace gown and combat boots—and was all smiles as she stood by mom Mandy Teefy, who she credits with inspiring her to pursue the series after gifting her the novel in 2008.
It’s been a while since the former Disney star has dressed to the nines for a red carpet appearance, but this look is proving that no one can pull off a youthful mix of elegant and chic quite like Selena.
