The singer jokes with McFly star boyfriend

Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter have clearly bonded over their shared hair problems.

McFly star Dougie, 26, posted a funny picture of his messy blond mane on Instagram yesterday as it hung over his face.

Selfie,’ the singer captioned the shot.

But girlfriend Ellie, 27, decided to compete against her man and took a similar photo with her locks brushed forward, covering her eyes and nose.

I see you and raise you @idougahole,’ Ellie wrote.

The couple, who were first spotted together earlier this year, have become so close that Dougie apparently feels comfortable putting Ellie‘s undies on.

An unimpressed Ellie replied: this is not even a joke ‘
