During her sculpture studies in Sao Paolo, Ana Khouri was already designing pieces that molded to the body and responded directly to it. To this day, her approach to jewelry-making is the same: anatomic forms that establish a close connection with the wearer and help her shine.

Awarded the Andam prize last month, she explained what this means for her, saying: 'I have always admired French artists like Rodin, Monet, Marcel Duchamp and Louise Bourgeois. So, beyond the immense honor of having won, I hope that this award will give me the opportunity to start working with French artisans and also open a studio here. It would be a dream come true. There is no doubt that French culture will continue to influence my work.’
