“Find someone with the same shape as your face,” he recommends. “This way we better know how the cut will look on you, more so than on someone with a completely different size and shape of face.” So while you may love the way a super short pixie looks on Charlize Theron or how Kerry Washington rocks choppy bangs that doesn’t mean you should use them as your in-salon inspo. Instead, find a pic of someone who looks more like you.
