Ferne McCann has got lots of exciting projects in the pipeline and now she’s got a stunning new hairdo to boot!

The former TOWIE star revealed that she’s gone from blonde to brunette on social media yesterday and showed off the dramatic transformation with a stunning selfie.

‘Oh hi new hurrrrr,’ Ferne, 25, captioned a snap of her dark tresses on Twitter.

The photo shows Ferne pouting as she stares at the camera with her newly brown locks on display.

It’s fair to say that the daring colour change has gone down well with the Essex girl’s followers and some even think she’s almost unrecognisable.

‘O.M.G how different do u look?! I love it!!!’ one admirer commented on the snap.

Another wrote: ‘Wow loving the new look fern it suits you’

The shot has also racked up more than 22,000 likes on Instagram, so it’s definitely got the seal of approval from most!

It comes as Ferne’s career continues to go from strength to strength, with an exciting new project with her I’m A Celebrity pal Vicky Pattison lined up soon.

The pair – who both reached the final of the jungle-based reality show – will be heading off to Italy to film a road trip series for This Morning in the not too distant future, so Ferne will have some stunning locations to show off her new do in!

She’s also been busy with lots of other ventures recently, including the release of her autobiography and her presenting duties on This Morning’s showbiz news segment.

It’s not all work and no play for the now-brunette Ferney though. Just a few days ago the reality star had us green with envy as she posted lots of sunny snaps from a trip to Barcelona.
