CHANEL’S Le Vernis nail colours are always cause for excitement at the fashion house’s seasonal shows and spring/summer 2012 was no exception, with a pearly white shade Peter Philips had created especially for the models on the catwalk causing quite the beauty stir. HEAD BACKSTAGE AT THE SPRING/SUMMER 2012 SHOW Fortunately Philips decided to release the colour due to popular demand, and next month we’ll see it go on sale as a limited edition alongside three new permanent Le Vernis shades – alluringly named Frisson, Distraction and Tentation. It will also be joined by five new Lévres Scintillantes lip glosses – including a pearly pink limited edition shade named Surprise – making up the Roses Ultimes de Chanel collection. SEE THE ROSES ULTIMES DE CHANEL COLLECTION An array of pretty-as-can-be pinks – from iridescent pastels to bold fuchsia and coral – the collection allows you match or clash your lips and nails, whilst each product promises a flawless high-gloss finish. Roses Ultimes de Chanel will be available from May 11, see it in full here.
